| Habit | Deeply connected to family Doesn't like to be alone for a long time. · Makes trilling sounds to communicate with the owner. · Intelligent, fun to play with, and trainable. · Gentle, gets along well with other pets, including dogs. |
| Thailand weather | Its long, thick fur with a layer of cotton wool inside makes it less resistant to the humid heat of Thailand. They are more at risk of getting their fur tangled and heat building up inside them than on short-haired cats. They should be kept in a house with air conditioning or fans throughout the day. And brush the fur regularly to reduce the fur that gets tangled in clumps, which will increase the heat. |
| fur care | Brush their fur at least once a week. During shedding, you should brush more frequently, trim nails, brush teeth, and clean ears and eyes regularly. |
| exercise | It's quite playable but shouldn't be allowed to jump very high. Because the hip structure does not have a tail to absorb shock like normal cats with tails. |
| Common diseases in the breed | The tailless gene shared with Manx cats can cause Manx syndrome, a spinal deformity similar to spina bifida that affects bowel control and walking. Especially cats that have no tail at all (rumpy) · Must be held and supported by the hips especially. Do not press or hit the base of the tail. · Responsible breeders do not breed tailless and tailless cats to reduce the risk of this syndrome. |
