The Chaussie is a cross between a house cat and a jungle cat (Felis chaus). It was officially bred in the United States in the 1990s. It is large, long-legged, and heavily muscular. It looks like a wild cat but is very friendly and intelligent. They need more space and exercise than other house cats.
